Simple Shredded Chicken

Simple Shredded Chicken

This is about to be the easiest & most life changing recipe I will ever post. You will never shred chicken the same. I do this weekly & store chicken in the fridge to use in salads, sandwiches, enchiladas, soups, tacos, etc. If you aren’t going to use all the chicken, place in a ziplock & store in freezer. This is great if you have chicken in the fridge that is about to expire & you don’t know what to do with it!

Simple Shredded Chicken

6 chicken breasts

1 cup water

1 tbsp salt

Spray the insert of your instant pot to ensure chicken doesn’t stick. Place chicken breast inside the pot (I used frozen). Add in water & salt. Close the lid and set the time to pressure cook for 20 from frozen & 15 from fresh.

Remove chicken breasts & place into your stand mixer with the PADDLE attachment. Shred & serve!
