Honey Garlic Turkey Bowls

Honey garlic chicken wings were my fav growing up. I got thinking of them this week & decided to make a healthier version in these turkey bowls! An amazing quick & easy meal that is great for leftovers.

Honey Garlic Turkey Bowls

1.5 lbs lean ground turkey

1 red pepper

1 carrot

1 shallot

(I had some roasted corn leftover from the southwest cobb, so added that in too!)

Sauce

1/2 cup soy sauce (or sub coconut aminos)

3/4 cup honey

3 tsp garlic chili sauce

1 tbsp mince garlic

Salt & pepper to taste

In a pan cook the pepper and carrot until tender, add in the shallot and cook until soft. When veggies are tender, add in ground turkey and season well with salt & pepper. Once turkey is cooked through, add in sauce & cook on medium high until sauce has reduced and thickened (about 10 minutes). Serve over rice, cauliflower rice or eat as is!
