HUGE PESTO FAN RIGHT HERE. I am never impressed with store bought versions though! It is SO easy to make homemade & the taste is insanely better. Whip this up today & I promise you will never buy the store-bought version again. It is perfect on pasta (I love to add some heavy cream alongside this to make a pesto cream sauce), on chicken, as a dip & so much more!
Easy Homemade Pesto
2 cups packed basil
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt & pepper to taste
In a food processor add all ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
