Beef Bulgogi

Gosh this is one of my favorite recipes. Packed with flavor & overall quite easy to make. A key is marinating the steak for a few hours although you can do a quick marinade if necessary! This is a great meal for a crowd as well.

Beef Bulgogi

3 ribeyes 

2 cups brown sugar

1 cups soy sauce 

2 tbsp sesame oil 

2 green onions chopped 

2 garlic cloves garlic 

1 tsp pepper 

Thinly slice your ribeye steaks into strips. Cut off any hard chunks of fat. Put in a bowl with the brown sugar, soy, sesame oil, green onions, garlic & pepper. Mix well & marinate for 5 hours (I have done as little as 1 hour but the longer the better) 

Remove from fridge & heat a cast iron skillet on high heat with some oil. Using tons, drain the marinade off the meat as you place in skillet. Cook in batches to allow even cooking. Remove from skillet to a plate when cooked to your desire, it cooks FAST! Keep cooking in batches until all meat is cooked. Add remaining marinade to the pan and let it reduce by half. Use sauce to serve over meat along with rice & your choice of toppings. We love broccoli, cucumbers, avocado, green onions & sesame seeds. Enjoy!
